St. James 1868 Royal Experience, Premier Milwaukee Event & Wedding Venue

The St. James 1868 150-year-old church was literally transformed by Kate Crowle and her visions of European Elegance. In the heart of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, her hard work, talent and dedication have created not only two decadent royal event and wedding spaces but also the most professional event management team. I cannot suggest strongly enough that you must visit the St. James 1868 website and read how her vision of a breathtaking “little piece of Europe” came to life. Her story is admirable and impressive. From the historic architecture to the Duke and Duchess suites, she has captured the feel of royalty and reinvented something old into something new and exciting.

In January, Dish & Decor Vintage Rental was delighted to be a part of this year’s St. James 1868 Annual Styled Photo Session and Showcase Event. The Abbey and the Hyde spaces were set up to show what a real wedding would look like. Royal couples who have already booked their weddings here and prospective wedding couples attended. What a lovely evening for everyone to experience.

Our tables were set with two different place settings on the St James 1868 tables in The Abbey as you can see in the photos above. These included our Black Toile salad plate, our clear mismatched salad plate, our mismatched vintage flatware and our Pure wine and water glasses.

Our team was so excited to play with these couples. We showcased a variety of our dinnerware, chargers, glassware, and flatware collections. This allowed couples to ask us questions, place our pieces on the St. James 1868 tables to create their own table style and to see how their choices look in the venue. ​We loved talking with the couples to show them what is possible. By playing on the tabletops, couples were able to play and see how they could personalize their wedding tables and elevate their table style to fit their vision.
